The ground rules for using startwide.com. Client and talent engagements are covered by their own written agreements.
Agreement
These terms apply to your use of startwide.com (the "site"), operated by Startwide ("Startwide," "we," "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The site is information, not an offer
The site describes Startwide's services in general terms. Nothing on it is an offer of employment, an offer to provide services, or a guarantee of results. Engagements with clients and with network members are governed only by separate written agreements, and if one of those conflicts with these terms, the written agreement wins.
What you send us
When you submit a form, you confirm the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Don't send confidential information you aren't permitted to disclose, or anyone else's personal information without their permission. How we handle what you send is described in our privacy policy.
Joining the Startwide Network doesn't guarantee that you'll be offered work, and submitting a brief doesn't commit either of us to an engagement.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site. That includes trying to break or overload it, getting around its security, scraping it in bulk, submitting spam or false information, or using it for anything unlawful.
Our content
The site's text, design, images, logos and the Startwide name belong to Startwide or its licensors. You may view and share pages for your own non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, modify or reuse them otherwise without our written permission.
Links
The site may link to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will always be available, error-free or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Startwide won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the one that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
